Giggles and Stuff...

Aww...the Xanga people are so pitiful! I feel like crying for them! They're all, "Hi Farren! You've been here 647 days (wow! that's a big number!)! Won't you support us by going premium?*big smiley face*" It makes me so sad, especially since I still don't want to support them by going Premium...but only because I am moneyless!!

Anyway, hello to my peeps, if you guys don't mind me calling you that, which I'm sure you do, but it was the only other thing I could think of besides "brethren" and well,...I think peeps are better,...yeah. 

So I've been thinking about those Luna Sea lyrics that I posted earlier. I am the trigger. I absolutely love that. Maybe because I hate feeling out-of-control. Weird OCC thing I guess. Along with my constantly changing Americanness...if that's a word.

So I'm eating chips and queso, called Viva con Queso. It's good I guess. I like the stuff at the Mexican restaurants better. Aw! That reminds me! Martin! The little Mexican booger...I think I payed him back sufficiently at lunch though....yeah. Hopefully. Evil rastard...yes, I did put the R there on purpose. Jacklyn! You would understand!

Spring Break next week. Visiting my grandparents in Louisiana, then going to Baton Rouge for a few days while visiting LSU. Hoorah! In case you didn't know, we are SO going to the Final Four! We play UCLA this coming Saturday. Can't wait! Wouldn't that be amazing!!?? It's like 2003 all over again, but with basketball!! *dances*

I REALLY wanna read V for Vendetta!!!!

I was looking at the movie reviews for the new movie, V for Vendetta, and I really, really, want to see it. Besides that, I found out it's a graphic novel as well, so now I wanna read it. Ah, the pains of being an avid-reader in world that doesn't appreciate books as much as I do.....

I'm thinking about switching out songs. I found an amazing Luna Sea song (which is now probably my favorite by them ever) and it's under 5MB, so I can upload it on here. Yes, I think I will, but not right now, because I don't feel like it...

A quote from The Lord of the Rings that expresses how I feel now:

'I wish it need not have happened in my time,' said Frodo.

And another:

Parts that are italicized are the most important parts. I've always said that this book and movie had so many themes for life and living. But why don't we read it in school? Why isn't this book on book lists, but sometimes The Hobbit is? Is The Lord of the Rings just too long? Or is it because teachers would have a hard time finding fake allegorical meanings in it (which, I must say, they do in almost every other book we read), not that they couldn't, but because Tolkien doesn't agree with them?

"I cordially dislike allegory in all its manifestations, and always have done so since I grew old and wary enough to detect its presence. I much prefer history, true or feigned, with its varied applicability to the thought and experience of readers. I think that many confuse 'applicability' with 'allegory'; but the one resides in the freedom of the reader, and the other in the purposed domination of the author."

Enough philosophical talk. Here's something funny. There's this guy who's reeaaally hot, from Tackey and Tsubasa, a J-pop duo and part of the Johnny's production label. His name is Hideaki Takizawa, and he's good at practically everything, singing, dancing, ANYTHING...except drawing apparently. This is his rendition of a lion as seen on his visit to the hilarious variety show Hey!x3:

I'm putting together a group of people to go to AWA since it costs less when there's a group, and we need two more people. Wanna come? $25 for the 3-day pass, and then some more later when we divide the hotel room cost for all of us. It's gonna be so much fun and you can bring someone you know too if you like, since we need one more person!! Pleaassee!!! Lol, I got this magazine today at a Japanese bookstore (what? it had an article on Gackt, I couldn't help myself!!) and guess who was all up in it? K!!!! Remember? The Korean singer who's single you bought? It also came with a fold-out poster of him (hhooottt!!!!) so he's currently on my wall....next to a fold-out poster of Gackt that came in another magazine...*cough* Anyways, I thought of you when I saw it! ^o^ I'll scan the pics from the magazine and put them on here for you, yeah? I also went to eat at a Chinese restaurant with a Chinese friend of mine, and it's the barbecue place right across the square from your uncle's (or aunt's?) insurance agency. Lol, small world! I was freaking out and was like "Oh oh oh! That's my friend's family's agency thing!!!" to my friend. He didn't get the big deal but hey, what can ya do? Hope you're doing great! Love ya and miss ya!!!

Yeah, so, I went to Chinatown and Koreatown, in case you didn't read my message to Julie above, with DY and it was alot of fun! Jessica! I had the greatest fried rice in my entire life! You would have loved it... I also got three Japanese magazines: two music ones (one with an article on Gackt, and the other with Laruku and B'z) and a game one (with Gackt on the cover for the FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus game he's in. Eeeee!! It also has an extensive article on both the new FFXII game and FFVII: DoC.). I love them and I'm SO going back every month for the other ones. They're pretty expensive though, but that's all right because I get to see my Gakkun and check out what music I need to be listening to!

I did alot of painting today, and I think the fumes are getting to me, because I feel awful giddy, but maybe it's just from thinking about Gackt and two new FF games....

I cry almost every time I listen to this song. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life, plus the fact that they performed it at hide's funeral. I downloaded the video of them at his funeral, and Toshi is practically kneeling over, trying his hardest not to cry, and Yoshiki is playing his heart out on the piano. It's absolutely heartwrenching and I love it.

I wish you guys could hear it, but it's way too long to put on here. So instead I'm switching out Laruku's Neo Universe with hide's Genkai Haretsu. Hope you guys like!
